Just a quick update: I have made a moderate change to the registration and login process in an effort to streamline the upcoming billing system, new features, and new account types.

I have tested this change and it appears to be working well. However, there is potential for new accounts (and maybe existing when logging in) to have issues. Please report anything not working as expected. Also please note that response over the next 24 hours will be delayed, due to the holiday weekend.

For STW developer reference:

This change was made to avoid a required module core change to support internal account configuration. Now, the only core change in that module is a very minor one and does not affect new account creation on upgrade of the module. This action is now handled by a rule.

I noticed that my Account Type is specified as "free" in the lobby, even though clicking on "Paid by Paypal" shows I have recurrent payment setup for 2 features since March '11.

Is this just an artifact of your upgrade or is something else broken?

Check your email (maybe spam folder?) for an announcement we sent a few days ago that spells out the difference of PRO upgrades vs account levels. They are NOT the same thing.

You can have a "Free" account but still have PRO features.

Given that I have a "Free" account, should I set the STW_PRO parameter to 'false' when using the API?
