I took the site offline for about 10 minutes to implement changes to the site navigation. Basically, we moved the FAQ and Plugins link to the new Support area and replaced the navigation button (top yellow bar) with "Support" instead. This change affected our advertising directory, main site, user portal, and support area.

We also finished configuring the system and testing to ensure that tickets are tracked properly. To open a ticket, you would just log in (using your STW username and password) to the support area and then open a ticket. You may update tickets by replying to the ticket email or by visiting the support portal.

Over the next few weeks, we will be migrating our FAQs in to the knowledge-base, which is more easily searchable and also allows for voting (i.e. was this helpful). It also helps suggest relevant articles when submitting a ticket, to help users find what they need without having to wait for a response.

There are too many features to list in regards to this support area, but it is run on a leading support platform and should be fairly intuitive.

I have deployed the registered version of our new help desk and all appears to be working well. A couple of linking issues were also reported where "Support" buttons would go to a page not found when using non-English languages. Those have been corrected.
