I was cleaning up the forums and just came across your comment. It really wasn't a good place to post a support or specific development issue, so I never saw it before now. Sorry.
But since people might find this thread in searches, it's better late than never to update it with an answer.
It looks like you are correct, and that was likely an oversight by the developer of the class that you were using. It looks like the code provided by Entrepan. I do not believe the code was ever updated, but it should have included a fix for that and also moved away from using the buggy version for timestamping.
At this late stage, however, I am not inclined to update that code, as our PHP sample code includes a much more stable, tested, and feature-rich class. The latest PHP sample code can be downloaded from the Documentation Area.
